Allow search by Major (e.g. Arts -> Communications, Marketing, Grant Writing)

There are projects on the marketplace that practically fit the needs of arts and other majors e.g. English majors looking for communications, marketing, social sciences looking for community engagement, nonprofit organizational work.
They don't have to be mutually exclusive, I was shown this layered wheel that a school uses to show project opportunities in different majors to help students and stakeholders see WIL as more equitable across the board.
E.g. first layer of the wheel Arts --> Communications/Marketing/Grant Writing
This will be easier to sell to the traditionally weaker Riipen subjects because we don't carry many "English projects" but English students want to do communications or marketing, and this will encourage them. It may also more easily capture programs

Thomas Doherty I don't think we're going to pursue this as a platform filter at this time; the mapping of categories to majors is pretty subjective and I wouldn't want to limit people that way by assuming arts is related to specific categories when the instructor could have their own different ideas. I do think this is a really good fit for a marketing landing page, if it would be helpful in conversations with new users in specific majors, like arts. We could create a landing page describing how Riipen supports instructors in [X major] and link them to the different categories of projects we would suggest they look at for that major. What are your thoughts on that? Would you use a page like that regularly?

Emily Masching I think that would be a great fit, the goal is to have something that addresses arts subjects so they are not discouraged by the immediate abundance of techy business projects that are too much of a stretch for them.
