Availability poll

It would be very helpful for students and employers to have an availability poll option embedded in the on platform conversations or on the team page. This may reduce the delays in students and employers scheduling synchronous meetings. Perhaps this could be added to the meeting scheduler?

Calendar availability integration

Hi all! It seems there’s a real need for a calendar availability feature for all participants on the platform. I first noticed this need while working with Riipen Advantage, where ESM and I had to go back and forth with employers and educators about their availability. It would be so much easier if the platform allowed users to share their availability and book time directly on the platform, similar to how tools like Hubspot, Calendly, or Doodle work.
More recently, I spoke with an educator who mentioned that students have trouble scheduling meetings with their employers. They often have to switch to email to set up times, which makes it tough to track everything. Having an integrated calendar feature on the platform would also help keep all communication in one place—especially since not everyone has meeting links to share.

We explored Calendly integration a couple years back and were not able to find a way to make it work well (every user who wanted to share availability had to create an account first). We will take another look at Calendly and other available tools; I agree this is a priority.
